ABOUT SEARCHLIGHT Our desire is to build the body of Christ throughout the world, helping bring Christians to maturity through teaching, literature, and training leaders...wherever there is a need or spiritual hunger. Searchlight believes that the challenge of missions in the 21st century is the same as it has been from apostolic times — “to make disciples of all nations … teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19). The fundamental motivation of all ministry is to build up and edify the body of Christ “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).

The aim of building up the Church means that the constant desire is to help churches and nations to best meet the needs of their particular situation.
