Dear Friends,

So much is happening in so many areas of the world that it is difficult to communicate everything in just one page. Be looking for more frequent updates from Searchlight as God continues to open new and exciting doors for us. This update focuses on the outreach of our affiliate in Myanmar to the Dai people.

Truly we thank God for what He is doing around the world, and for each of you that acts as an Intercessor or Investor on behalf of God’s kingdom. I will let him report the wonderful news in his own words.

Preparations are made by the team for the journey inland.

I am very happy to report and share my missionary trip to Dai tribe people. God is good for my mission trip and doing many wonderful things. Our Dai area is mountain hill area and we are walking 4 days by foot and preach the gospel.

There are no more Christian and remote area and primitive people are living, and it is very need to share the gospel and plant new churches to Dai area. Conduct prayer meeting and share the salvation of Jesus Christ. Many people are interest, kneel down and confess their sin and accepted Jesus is their Lord before God. Praise Lord!!!

The only way to the villages

We provide some food and killed ox and celebrate our meeting. One of the villages faces a problem with drinking water. They are carry drinking water very far 7 miles from their village, and they need to water pipe to flow for their drinking water. Kindly pray for their problem.

I reach 3 villages and preach the gospel and many people are accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. And I bring some orphans children are to care in my house.

Dai people hear the message of Jesus Christ for the first time in their lives.

The population of Dai people are at least 75000 and more than 1500 villages. There are very few educated person and it is need to support their secular education. There are very few church, and it is need to plant new churches and send missionaries. There are very few Christian and no have Dai Bible in their language. There are no motor road and it is need to provide social work for to develop their living.

Please pray for our Dai people for to develop both of physical and spiritually. I think when you read and see our picture and you will understand what is our situation and need for your helping for our tribe.

People respond to the story of salvation by accepting Jesus as their Savior

If possible kindly send us the cost of Light for Life in Burmese. We are ready to print a new one. We are so happy to distribute Light for Life around Myanmar for His glory.
