Further news:
1. Mike and Anne Barton have just returned from a week-long trip to the Netherlands. While they were there, they were solidifying Searchlight’s administrative operations for the continent of Europe. God has graciously given us a reliable and trustworthy European financial representative in Swawek van der Meer and his family. Please keep them in your prayers as they oversee the practical details of Searchlight’s finances in Europe. Also on this trip, the Bartons were able to meet with a couple who are interested in working with Searchlight in Rwanda and Burundi in the future. We hope to bring you more news as this new relationship develops.
2. Later this month, Mike and Anne will be meeting with a couple in England. We are still praying about the right people to oversee Searchlight’s activities in the United Kingdom, and we are seeing what possibilities there might be with this couple. Please pray that God will give us his guidance and direction in the decisions that have to be made to insure that Searchlight’s activities in the UK and across Europe continue without any hindering interruptions.
Searchlight in troubled countries
Over the past few years, God has given us some wonderful opportunities to be an encouragement and help in some of the more troubled parts of the world. God has graciously blessed Searchlight’s literature and teaching conferences in Myanmar and Pakistan-both nations that are in great spiritual and political turmoil. Please pray that God would supply the finances for us to be able to continue sending literature to these countries (in Urdu for Pakistan and Burmese for Myanmar), and that he would guide our steps regarding possible future visits.

Thank you so much for your prayers and continued interest in Searchlight and the work that God has given us to do around the world. Please keep us in your prayers as we follow all that he has set before us for the coming days. "Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!"
